A practical landing point in Ireland.

BIMED-led accommodation is a temporary, subsidised accommodation arrangement facilitated through private accommodation and building-management providers in Ireland. Current arrangements cover locations including Cork, Galway and Dublin.

WEBGEEK TECHNOLOGIES is an accommodation partner of BIMED.

Accommodation options

  • €4,000 — 3-month accommodation
  • €2,000 — 3-month shared accommodation
  • €1,250 — 1-month accommodation
  • €625 — 1-month shared accommodation

Shared accommodation is limited to a maximum of two professionals.

What happens after the initial arrangement?

When the BIMED-led arrangement ends, a recruit may, where available, enter a new accommodation agreement directly with the building-management provider or arrange alternative accommodation. Any later private lease is between the recruit and the accommodation provider and does not involve BIMED.

Payment and verification safety

  • Use the account name, IBAN and bank details shown on the official BIMED accommodation invoice.
  • Send your payment receipt to BIMED so the payment can be recorded and followed up.
  • BIMED does not receive staff-accommodation payments into its corporate account because accommodation is arranged through private providers.
  • BIMED will not validate or accept responsibility for third-party payments that do not correspond with the applicant’s name.
  • If bank details change or another person is proposed to make payment, contact BIMED through an official email address before paying.

Family-arranged accommodation

Applicants already admitted through the BIMED recruitment portal who have relatives in Ireland may ask BIMED to consider a family-arranged accommodation route under special, verifiable circumstances.

The proposed accommodation must be in Cork, Galway or Dublin. The supporting relative must be able to provide the proof of address and immigration/status evidence BIMED requires. Under BIMED’s current policy, a supporting person relying solely on a student permission or temporary work permission that does not satisfy BIMED’s verification requirements will not normally be accepted.

Family support does not guarantee an employment permit or visa decision.
